If your cloned virtual machine is on a Windows PC or a different Mac, you’ll need to transfer the virtual machine. Shut down (do not sleep or hibernate) the cloned virtual machine using the standard method for your guest operating system. Step Three: Shut Down and Transfer the Cloned Virtual Machine For example, in Windows 7, we open “Programs and Features” in the Control Panel, select “Oracle VM VirtualBox Guest Additions 5.1.12” and click “Uninstall/Change”.
